The Federation of Veterinarians of Europe (FVE) has welcomed the European Commission's proposal for a regulation on VMPs, but fears the current wording is too vague with respect to who can issue prescriptions for VMPs (Link). FVE requests all legislators "to take the responsibility to propose an explicit legislative framework by requiring that a veterinary prescription shall only be issued by a veterinarian.”
