EMA press release for November meeting of the CVMP

The EMA has posted the press release with details of the CVMP's meeting of 4 – 6 November 2015 (Link). General news relating to regulatory affairs includes:

• Community referral (Article 35): the Committee started a procedure for all VMPs containing moxidectin to be administered to cattle, sheep and horses, due to environmental concerns.
• Pharmacovigilance: The Committee adopted for consultation a concept paper on revision of the recommendation for the basic surveillance of data contained in EudraVigilance Veterinary (Link)

Antimicrobial resistance: The Committee adopted for consultation the CVMP Strategy on Antimicrobials 2016-2020 (Link).
