Bee Health Day in France:

9 December, 2014

A 'bee health day' took place at ANSES on 9th December 2014, with the aim of bringing together professionals, scientists and stakeholders to discuss the latest work on monitoring the health of bees and pollinating insects in Europe.  A presentation was made by EPILOBEE, the major European survey funded by the European Commission and driven by the ANSES Sophia-Antipolis Laboratory.  EPILOBEE has been in operation for two years and aims to compile raw data Europe-wide on bee mortality and colony losses, bee health and the prevalence of pathogens.

Presentations from the day and an article on bee health published by ANSES are now available (French language only).
