Brexit developments for veterinary medicines February 2018

The following developments relating to Brexit for veterinary medicines regulatory affairs have been published:

• Germany - PEI is making preparations for increased capacity relating to Brexit, including provisions for taking over as RMS (Link).
• Sweden - At a Brexit information day in Sweden, MPA confirmed their willingness to take over as RMS, free of charge (Link).
• EMA - Updated Q & A: Practical guidance for procedures related to Brexit for medicinal products for human and veterinary use within the framework of the centralised procedure (Link).
• CMDv - Updated Q & A related to the UK's withdrawal from the EU with regard to national authorised VMPs (Link).
